Transport Minister Anthony Loke said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad played a crucial role in allowing Malaysia to secure enough votes to be re-elected to the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) council.<br /><br />He said this is because Mahathir was very popular among developing, and African countries. <br /><br />He added that Mahathir will be used in future campaigns for this reason.
